Job Description
In this job, you will take direction from the Foreman or General Foreman. You will receive tasks, instructions, and guidance from them and will be expected to complete the tasks as assigned.
Here’s a breakdown of what the job includes:
- Reading and Understanding Instructions: You will read and interpret instructions and documents related to your work. This will help you plan your work activities effectively.
- Operating Company Vehicles: You will drive company vehicles with the ability to carry up to 5 tons. Your role will be to transport materials, tools, and equipment to different locations. These activities support construction and maintenance efforts. You may also be responsible for moving supplies from one warehouse to another.
- Loading and Unloading: Part of your job will involve loading materials onto the vehicle and unloading them once you arrive at the destination.
- Following Safety Rules: You must follow all safety rules and regulations on the job. This includes wearing personal protective equipment to ensure safety at all times.
- Performing Additional Tasks: You may be asked to perform other duties related to the job that are not listed above. You will be expected to complete these tasks as directed.
Qualifications
To qualify for this job, you need to have the following:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: This is required to be eligible for this position.
- Valid Driver’s License: You will need the appropriate license to drive the company’s vehicles.
