Core Responsibilities

  • Accurate Data Entry: Enter data into our ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system from paper documents and digital sources, ensuring that all data is correctly formatted and up to date.
  • Verify Data: Cross-check information with source documents to ensure accuracy and correct any discrepancies as needed.
  • Organize Documents: Sort and file paperwork after data entry to ensure that no information is lost or misfiled.
  • Computer Skills: Operate office equipment such as computers, printers, and scanners efficiently, along with basic troubleshooting of hardware.
  • Attention to Detail: Create and manage large spreadsheets, ensuring all numeric and alphabetic data is accurate and complete.
  • Report Discrepancies: Identify any errors in data or documentation and report these to the Production Supervisor for correction.
  • Create Labels: Generate labels for products and packaging, ensuring that all labeling is accurate and compliant with company guidelines.
  • Maintain Production Schedules: Assist the production team by ensuring data is up to date, which helps in meeting production schedules efficiently.
  • Food Safety Documentation: Ensure all HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) documentation is completed accurately.
  • Safety and Compliance: Report any safety concerns related to personnel or products to the appropriate supervisor and follow safety procedures consistently.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you’ll need excellent organizational and data entry skills. You should be detail-oriented and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a data entry role is preferred but not required. Experience working in a food manufacturing or production facility is a plus.
  • Computer Proficiency: Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) and ERP systems.
  • Attention to Detail: The ability to work with complex spreadsheets and databases with a high level of accuracy is essential.
