We are looking for a Receptionist to manage our front desk each day and help with simple office tasks. We are a hair replacement company.
What Does a Receptionist Do?
As a Receptionist, you will be the first person customers meet when they come to our company. Your main job is to greet guests and help them when they visit. You will also handle front desk duties like giving out mail and answering phone calls.
To do well in this role, you need to be friendly and good with people, as it’s part of customer service. You must also be able to handle problems quickly and keep things running smoothly. Being able to manage multiple tasks and stay calm under pressure is important. You might need to work different shifts, so being flexible is helpful.
The main goal of this job is to make sure visitors feel welcomed and that the front desk runs well.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests when they arrive.
- Direct visitors to the right person or office.
- Answer, screen, and forward phone calls.
- Keep the reception area clean and well-organized with needed items (like pens, forms, brochures).
- Provide basic and correct information in person or over the phone/email.
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries.
- Order supplies for the front office and manage stock.
- Update calendars and schedule meetings.
- Do other simple office tasks like filing, copying, or faxing.
Requirements
- Experience as a Receptionist or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (like Word, Excel).
- Experience using office equipment (like fax machines and printers).
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Good communication skills (both writing and speaking).
- Able to solve problems and stay organized.
- Able to handle multiple tasks and manage time well.
- Friendly and helpful attitude.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour
